The students of Class VIII visited the MI Room during their English class. They were explained on how to use the games 'Tag them' (Question tags), Articles board game and Spin a tale. They played the other games too. They found learning through such games so interesting that they requested their teacher to send them more links for such educative MI Games. The words of Albert Einstein, "Play is the highest form of research" ring true indeed.
It was yet another feather in the cap for Jain public school when young leaders enthusiastically inaugurated their Multiple Intelligence Board game Room. It was a great pleasure to see children beaming with happiness on seeing the board games prepared on various concepts in maths, science, languages and social science... In truest spirit and mind JPS is school beyond four walls
Action speaks louder than words and at Jain Public school we firmly believe in the same . School adopts varied strategies to make teaching learning process effective and interesting .One such step was when school Principal had taken hands on workshop with staff members to inculcate Howard Gardener Multiple intelligence theory where teachers were explained how using simple board games concepts in various academic subjects can be taught so that it caters to Multiple intelligences of every learner.
It was a delight to see all the teachers using their learning and implementing the same creating innovative board games like snakes and ladder, Bingo, Business, spin wheel etc to teach grammar, mathematical concepts, scientific topics , computer terminologies and many more. Teachers will be implementing the same in the classrooms.
